Spicy Board With Bacon Cayenne Baked Brie

Calling all spicy food fanatics and people who love to sweat while they eat!

THIS, my friends. This is the board for you.

The truth is, I grew up without having a particular affinity toward spicy foods. I didn’t necessarily avoid them, but I certainly wouldn’t reach for the hot pepper flakes to top off my creamy pasta dish. As my palate has developed overtime (read: I got older) I’ve become more obsessed with ordering everything “spicy” and needing it piping hot.

If you’re looking to build a board with a bit of kick, I can almost guarantee there’s an abundance of spicy flavored cheese available at your local grocery store. With so many spicy cheeses to choose from, including Sriracha Gouda, Habanero Cheddar, Ghost Pepper Jack, and many more, the spicy-board options are endless.

So get the party started and bring the heat with this board that’s guaranteed to spice up your next gathering. From the smoked gouda and red chili spiced cracker, to a slice of baguette dipped in bacon cayenne baked brie, every combination on this board will leave you begging and sweating for more.

To make this fiery board, you’ll want to start by preparing the bacon and cayenne triple crème baked brie, as this will take some time in the oven. While you’re waiting on that to get all ooey-gooey, you can start to build out your board, but make sure to leave a space for your baked brie. To do this, I recommend placing the lid of the brie box on your board as a space saver.

Start by placing your ramekins and/or small bowls onto the board and fill those up with the Spicy Romesco Dip and Calabrian Chili Paste. Then, begin to layer in the Smoked Gouda and Jalapeño Red Pepper Jack, baguette and red chili spiced crackers, calabrese salami, apple and mango slices, and chile and garlic cashews. Finally, grab your bubbling bacon and cayenne baked brie from the oven and set it in its reserved spot on your board.

Spicy, crunchy, and gooey. Is there a better combo? I think not.
